Explore Chester

Distance from Little Mollington Hall: 2.2 Miles (regular buses - or on a nice day a walk down the canal tow path)

Whilst in Chester, why not take the opportunity of exploring the city over the weekend? As soon as you arrive in Chester you will appreciate the city's unique atmosphere and sense of history.

Founded by the Romans over 2000 years ago, much of the Roman influence remains and Chester's city walls are the most complete in Britain. In every corner of the city you are confronted with history, from the Romanamphitheatre (thought to be the site of King Arthur’s roundtable), to the medieval half-timbered buildings, home to many shops and boutiques. There is also a huge outlet village at nearby Cheshire Oaks. Chester is centrally located in the UK, on the border of North Wales with its beautiful landscape and castles, and close to the spectacular Lake District. The cities of Liverpool and Manchester are within 40 minutes drive and London is only 2 hours by train.
